Just returned from a short trip to England last week and can’t wait sharing the photos taken for Cathy & Stephen. We had a pleasant stay in a hotel near Piccadilly Circus where it’s centrally located with walking distance to the photo shooting points. We had been to St. Paul’s and several scenic points along River Thames on the first day. It was rather chilly in May time of England, like around 8 to 10 degree C. I wrapped myself with fleece and goretex while Cathy had to bear a bit the chill for the photoshoot :p We took some casual street shots at the end of the day (see photos in the post – I like these casual shots as well).
On the second day, we woke up quite early for preparation and make up as we need to travel to southwest of England in Somerset where Cathy and Stephen’s high school situated. It took us 3 hours to travel from central London to their school while it was truly worth going. I then learned their love story blossomed in a classroom on their first high school day in England. Cathy & Stephen were sitting next to each other on their first school day and then their love story went on and they will be getting married in August 2012 🙂 The school marked loads of nice memories in their timeline and it’s the best place to re-visit for having their engagement photos. It shared a good time for them to meet and chat with their friends and teachers in school. The couple received many congratulations from friends and teachers there on that day! As we needed another 3 hours to travel back to London after the shoot, the actual shooting time was rather short. Well, that’s not too important after all~
After the photo shoot, they headed to other parts of England to continue with their travel plan. A great mix of engagement photo taking and leisure travel. And taking this opportunity, I would like to thank both Cathy & Stephen for taking care my crew all along for the shoot. Thanks for the treat and all the transport arrangement. Let’s meet up again when you return HK!
